a boy after my own heart
last night, after lights out, as cosmo was getting tucked into bed, he laid his head down, i kissed him and was about to leave the room, when he said to me,
"our peas look great."
i almost cried. instead i said,
"they sure do, cosmo. goodnight."
"goodnight, mama."
and he's right, they look fantastic.

Aw,that is so sweet. My three-year-old frequently asks to go up the 'lotment' (allotment) and is very keen on 'growing some beans like you Mummy'.
I was going to say 'That is so sweet!' then I saw that Mrs. Be beat me to it. That's ok - I'll just say: ditto!
What a sweet little boy you have there. I'm sure he'll love those peas when you get some to harvest.
